When you think of NYC, you should think BAGELS. If you have yet to try a bagel from NYC, you are really missing out. Most bagel shops around the city will serve your typical New York City bagel. But just incase you want to try some of my favorite, here are a few places I enjoy:

Black Seed Bagels

Village Voice

Located at 170 Elizabeth Street in Nolita, (if you are unfamiliar with Nolita, it means north of Little Italy), these bagels are made in-house with wood-fired ovens. These bagels are truly unique as they combine a typical NYC bagel with bagels of Montreal. They also offer awesome smoked fish and spreads. Mmmmm.

Terrace Bagels

Now if your in Brooklyn craving a bagel, definitely try and stop by Terrace Bagels. It may be really crowded and there are only a few tables inside, but it is totally worth it! These hand rolled bagels are to die for. If you are a caffeine addict like me- they also have you covered with some delicious coffee. This shop is located at 224 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, NY.

Shake Shack

Ok, the ShackBurger might not be the most elaborate burger around, but it is definitely the BEST. If you have a little time to kill during lunch time and don’t mind long lines, you need to visit your closest NYC Shake Shack.
